XD BUT WES IS DEFINITELY IN THE TOP TEN!!!!!! I could just feel for him and his character arc (and the rest of it that I feel is coming in book two) was perfection.
I say nearly every dude I meet in fiction is mah boy. Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking if you've been following my reviews for a while. We've got dragons, dwarves, and elves thrown in here that I was getting some major LOTR vibes! And all the kingdom names were really cool as well (and that's important to point out because naming made-up kingdoms is SO HARD). Good books with dragons are so far and few, and not only does this book have plenty of dragon page time, one of our main characters IS a dragon!! The God of gods is rising.Īlright, it's review time! Y'all I can't stress enough how EPIC this read was!!! Like, I'm gonna be obsessing over this for a while. The world could change, men could do good and work evil, but as long as the High One held His creation together, the light would always come after the darkness.
